What excites you most about this play?
“I am most excited by the way RICELAND folds each angle on itself: mundane workplace romance folds into domestic drama into supernatural existentialism. It presents so much in theatricality - mechanical post-industrial spaces as hollow and undefined. Identities are in flux too. It has been a pleasure to parse this with the playwright/director and team.”
When you think of your hometown, what landmark comes to mind?
“I think of the downtown library - now closed and moved I believe - where I would go as a kid. I always wanted to work there. It has a fake greenhouse in the entryway that I always wanted to explore like a jungle back then.”
